I have long expected to delete spam comments whenever I log onto transitophile.
I don’t expect to delete more than five hundred such comments in a single day.
Recently, I’ve had to. An AI spambot has likely discovered this blog, perhaps with human help or, as plausibly, all by itself. Nothing personal. Security tools have helped me stem the flood, but not before many spam comments leaked through to soil the site before being banished to Trash. Yech.
Big league news sites get to battle such high-tech foes. Not me! Comments have been disabled.

No esperaba tener que borrar más de quinientos comentarios de este tipo en un solo día.
Últimamente, he tenido que hacerlo. Probablemente, un bot de spam con IA ha descubierto este blog, quizá con ayuda humana o quizá por su cuenta. Nada personal. Las herramientas de seguridad me han ayudado a frenar la avalancha de spam, pero no antes de que muchos comentarios se colaran y ensuciaran el sitio antes de ser desterrados a la Papelera. ¡Puaj!
Los principales sitios de noticias tienen que luchar contra enemigos tan tecnológicos. ¡Yo no! Se han desactivado los comentarios.
